Our Story

CIENNA BROOKLYN is a contemporary jewelry brand founded by Cienna, created for those who want pieces that feel considered, wearable, and long-lasting.

The brand began with a simple frustration: jewelry that looked good, but didn’t last. Affordable pieces faded too quickly, while luxury alternatives often felt impractical for everyday life. There was a clear middle ground missing — refined jewelry that could keep up.

That search led to PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition), a modern coating process known for its durability and longevity. It became the foundation for how CIENNA BROOKLYN approaches materials, sourcing, and design.

Today, CIENNA BROOKLYN offers a curated collection of elevated staples. Many of our pieces are water-resistant or waterproof, and all are selected with daily wear in mind. Each style is reviewed and tested for finish, durability, and feel — because jewelry should work with your lifestyle, not against it.

Our aesthetic is clean. Our approach is intentional.

A NOTE FROM OUR FOUNDER

I didn’t grow up obsessed with jewelry — fashion, for me, always started with clothing. Jewelry came later, mostly out of necessity, and for a long time it never quite lived up to expectations.

Pieces would fade. Clasps would break. I’d end up taking everything off before showering, sleeping, or living — which felt like the opposite of how jewelry should work.

CIENNA BROOKLYN came from wanting something better.

Pieces I didn’t have to think twice about. Jewelry that felt polished, but practical. Elevated, but easy.

I’m hands-on with every collection and test our pieces the way I wear them — daily, consistently, and without being overly careful. If it can’t keep up, it doesn’t make the cut.

This brand is built slowly and intentionally, and I’m excited to see it grow — into jewelry, clothing, and beyond.

OUR MATERIALS & QUALITY

PVD FINISHING

Many of our gold styles use Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) — an advanced coating process that bonds a layer of real gold to the base metal, resulting in a finish that is more durable than traditional plating. This helps reduce fading, scratching, and tarnishing over time.

Not all pieces in our collection are waterproof, but the majority are designed to withstand water exposure and everyday wear.

BASE MATERIALS

We primarily use stainless steel and titanium, selected for their strength, corrosion resistance, and long-term durability. These materials provide a reliable foundation beneath the finish.

QUALITY STANDARDS

Every piece is reviewed and wear-tested before being added to the collection. Our focus is not trend-driven volume — it’s consistency, quality, and longevity.
