Color Fade Warranty

We proudly stand behind the quality of our accessories. Every eligible purchase from CIENNA BROOKLYN includes our Standard Color Fade Warranty (3 months), designed to give you confidence in your jewelry from day one.

Our accessories are crafted to last well beyond the standard warranty period. However, extended coverage is ideal for those who want additional protection for their pieces.

Standard Color Fade Warranty

​Our Standard Color Fade Warranty is included free of charge with eligible accessory purchases and is valid for 3 months from the date of delivery.

Although majority of our earrings are waterproof, they do not come with our 3 months of Standard Color Fade warranty included. Color Fade Warranty can be added on to earrings for an additional charge and does not cover normal wear on the part of the earring that enters the ear. Earrings should be cleaned regularly with the included jewelry cleaning cloth to ensure dirt and debris from ears causes minimal wear on earring posts/hooks.

Extended Color Fade Warranty

For added peace of mind, we offer Extended Color Fade Warranty options for an additional charge. Available durations and pricing are listed in the dropdown menu titled “Color Fade Warranty” on eligible product pages.

Please note:

  • Extended warranties must be selected prior to checkout

  • Extended coverage cannot be added after purchase

  • Extended warranties are available only for eligible waterproof items

  • Stone components (including cubic zirconia, gemstones, faux pearls, and pearls) remain excluded from coverage, even when extended warranty is purchased

What Color Fade Warranty Covers

The Color Fade Warranty covers visible signs of:

  • Tarnishing

  • Rust

  • Color fading

  • Coverage applies only to the metal components of eligible waterproof items.


Not Covered:

  • Color fade or damage caused by scratches, chemicals, accidents, impact, or improper care

  • Normal wear and tear beyond warranty terms

  • Normal wear on the part that enters the ear on earrings

  • Any stones, pearls, or non-metal embellishments

  • Subscription box items, final sale items, or clearance items

This warranty does NOT apply to

  • Jewelry received in any CIENNA BROOKLYN subscription Glow Box

  • Final sale or clearance items

  • Items discounted 60% or more

  • Items not explicitly stated as “waterproof”

  • The part that enters the ear on earrings (post/hook)

  • Cubic zirconia stones

  • Other gemstones

  • Faux pearls

  • Pearls

Replacement Limitations

To ensure fair use of our warranty policy:

  • The Color Fade Warranty covers one (1) replacement piece per item within a six (6) month period

  • We will not replace the same item more than once within a 6-month timeframe, regardless of warranty length

  • Replacement items continue on with the remaining months of the Color Fade Warranty length selected on the original item purchased

  • Replacement items cannot have additional coverage added on, nor does the Color Fade Warranty coverage period reset when a replacement is given

How to Submit a Warranty Claim

To submit a Color Fade Warranty claim there are two options, A) Use our preferred method by scrolling down below to the pink boxes on the screen. Click on the arrow of the first box "Color Fade Warranty Claim Form" and it will bring you directly to our claim form page, or B) If you would prefer to send us an email, follow the steps listed below:
*Please do NOT do both option A and option B. We will see your claim and respond at our earliest convenience.

  1. Email support@ciennabrooklyn.ca

  2. Include:

    • Order number

    • Full name

    • Clear photos and/or videos showing the issue

    • Describe the issue and where it is noticeable on the item

    • Warranty Length purchased 

  3. Our team will respond within 1–4 business days


If your claim qualifies, you will be asked to ship the item to us for inspection.

Shipping Policy:

  • Customers are responsible for shipping items to us for inspection, we do not cover this shipping fee

  • We cover shipping costs for approved replacement items sent back to you

  • Items that do not pass inspection are subject to a $12 processing and return shipping fee
    (You will be notified prior to any fee being applied.)
